About Bernadette Strome
Candidate For Mayor of Bend
Bend is my hometown.
My grandmother, Bobbie Strome, taught me that leadership means showing up, solving problems, and putting people first. I hear from Bend residents who love this city but are deeply concerned about its current direction.

The Position of Mayor
My Vision
The mayor helps shape what comes before the City Council for action. That makes servant leadership matter before a vote ever happens.
As mayor, I will use that responsibility with discernment - putting Bend residents first, moving forward ideas that strengthen our community, and pushing back on proposals that could create unnecessary costs, unintended consequences, or harm.
Because the decisions City Hall makes are not abstract.
They affect our money, our home, and our daily life.
When you vote for mayor, you are not just choosing one vote on the Council. You are choosing someone who helps shape what receives attention, what moves forward, and what direction Bend takes.
Servant leadership means using that influence to serve Bend - not a political agenda.
I will work for YOU
